Marcus Greene is a graduate of James Madison University, (B.S. Economics 2012) and Washington and Lee University School of Law (J.D. 2015) He is licensed to practice in Virginia.
Marcus Greene
Mr. Greene began his legal career in criminal prosecution, working first in Arlington County, Virginia, and then serving as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fairfax County, Virginia. Mr. Greene’s practice focused on complicated evidentiary issues and with victims of violent crime, with a focus in sexual assault and child sexual assault.
Mr. Greene gained extensive expertise in trial preparation and advocacy, appearing almost daily in the largest jurisdiction in the state.
In 2020, Mr. Greene joined Roop Xanttopoulos Babounakis & Klam. After focusing on protective orders, quasi-criminal, and domestic violence cases surrounding child custody and visitation, Mr. Greene expanded his work to include complex financial litigation.
Mr. Greene is adept at seeing the clearest path to the desired outcome, working diligently to help you feel at ease in the hardest moments of your life with a unique background of extensive courtroom experience and financial literacy.
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Greene was previously certified in mediation through Northern Virginia Mediation Services. A lifelong Virginia resident, Mr. Greene spends his time with his growing family in Annandale, Virginia.
