KOMAL H. KHAN
Komal joined ROOP XANTTOPOULOS BABOUNAKIS & KLAM PLLC in the Fall 2016. Since 2012, Komal has focused her experience in all areas of family law, including cases involving divorce, child custody and support, spousal support, domestic violence and equitable distribution.
Komal received her Bachelors of Science, summa cum laude, in Psychology at George Mason University in 2011 and her Juris Doctor from George Mason School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Komal was a member of the Civil Rights Law Journal, George Mason Inns of Court and Virginia Bar Associate Pro Bono Society. In addition, Komal completed two externship programs with retired Fairfax County Judges Klein and Judge Alden. As part of the program, she interned at the Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and Whitestone Young PC, where she focused in both criminal law, domestic violence cases and other family law litigation.
Komal uses her strong oral advocacy skills and understanding of family law to best advocate for her clients in the courtroom. She also finds it rewarding to work on solutions with her clients to settle their contentious and high conflict litigation. Komal was raised and currently resides in Northern Virginia.
