Heather Uzer

Heather Uzer joined ROOP XANTTOPOULOS BABOUNAKIS & KLAM PLLC as an Associate Attorney in December 2022. Heather grew up in Fairfax County and attended college at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science, in 2014. After college, Heather attended law school at the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. During law school, Heather was a member of the Civil Rights Law Journal and Moot Court. Additionally, she worked as a Law Clerk at a boutique Arlington law firm, where she gained experience working on medical malpractice, personal injury, and general civil litigation cases. Heather received her Juris Doctor from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in 2021; and became a member of the Virginia State Bar in 2022.

Since graduating law school, Heather’s practice has focused in the area of domestic relations and family law. Prior to joining us, Heather worked as a Law Clerk and Associate Attorney at a  family law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. She has experience working in a wide range of family law cases, including numerous custody, visitation, support, and equitable distribution cases. Heather is a strong advocate for her clients, who is highly driven by her desire to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients and their families. She understands that these can be incredibly difficult times for families, and is grateful to be able to use her skills to help individuals navigate through these trying times and come out stronger on the other side.
